The grand prix car shown in the photograph above is a scale replica of the first ever Porsche racing car, the P-wagen, which later became known as the Auto-Union Type A . When Ferdinand Porsche set up the now famous Porsche company he designed this racing car with no customer in mind. The layout was pure Porsche and revolutionary at the time.

Photographs were taken from the only full sized car in the world of this model, to enable me to engineer an accurate scale working model of this beautiful Grand Prix racing car from 1934. You can visit my car at the Donington Park Grand Prix museum.

This car has been approved for the Le Mans Classic childrens car race.
